May I put a vote in for a bright color for the Tshirt? Something that screams, "please don't run me over!"

 

The shirts will be a bright color. Nothing horrible though.

Camping

We need to camp, so where? We will be trying out the camping gear we will take on our GAP ride- any suggestions will be gladly accepted! I heard there were some folks camping, but I can't find any mention anywhere. I have only driven through Tenessee once, and I don't even think we had time to stop, I am really clueless.

Anyone from the NY / NJ / MA area heading to this event ?

My local 'bent nomads are booked that weekend and I'd love to attend.

Driving solo 900 miles each way is a bit more than I can handle and be even semi-functional upon arrival.

There are several camping sites along the river next to the shop with loads of site available for the weekend. I camped in the Park last year but there is no shower facilities there so the stuff in Townsend is best. I will be there this year but have no firm plans as of today. Call next week and we can compare notes and maybe get together for a small fire and a few beverages and lies around said fire.

I think we decided on a cabin at the KOA. Setting up a tent, when we arrive after dark on Friday, sounds like a recipe for disaster and I know our trikes are welcome in a cabin! The only drawback will be a 9 mile drive Sat morning, but that's ok!

 

So Buddy, are you considering on coming this year??? You didn't come last year and it just broke my heart! If yo don't come this year I don't know how I'll make it.
